Income thresholds for the private health insurance offset
and medicare levy surcharge will be frozen for 3 years
from 1 July 2015.
From 1 July 2015 the reduction in Medicare Benefits will
mean that previously bulk billed patients can expect to pay
a $7 contribution towards standard GP consults, out of
hospital pathology and diagnostic imaging services.
Also will be increases in the PBS Safety Net thresholds
and the Medicare Safety Net thresholds.
